Standard Life to go ahead with flotation
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999The company is expected to be valued at around $7 to $10 billion and though it is too early to say how much the shares will be worth, analysts are predicting the average windfall for its 2.4 million mutual members to be in the region of $1,700. Trading in the company is anticipated to begin in July 2006, providing that 75% of the group's members agree during a special general meeting in either May or June.
