Prudential secures agreement with Thinc Destini
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999This announcement, the third regulated multi-tie panel appointment for Prudential, positions the insurance company as one of the strongest providers in the multi-tie marketplace. In addition to Prudential, the Thinc Destini regulated panels will initially consist of three other providers. Andy Briggs, Prudential UK's distribution director, said: "Thinc Destini is a powerful new force in the Intermediary marketplace. We believe that it will be a clear beneficiary of depolarization and we look forward to working with the management team." Simon Chamberlain, COO for Thinc, said: "Prudential's track record in the annuity market is well documented and its expertise sets it apart. It has also demonstrated that it has market-leading knowledge in the design and implementation of multi-ties. By partnering with Prudential, we can harness the strengths of both organizations in the design of a compelling and clearly differentiated multi-tie for our members".
