BNY Names Chief Global Market Strategist

Mr Malvey has also appointed director of the newly formed BNY Mellon Center for Global Investment & Market Intelligence, where he will lead a team responsible for capturing and researching investment trends, market activity and economics.

Mr Malvey will focus on developing a global investment and market knowledge platform that will help capture and communicate the investment opinion and analysis from across the investment firms that comprise BNY Mellon Asset Management.

Mr Malvey is best known for the time he spent at Lehman Brothers, where as managing director and chief global fixed-income strategist he chaired the multi-asset investment strategy group and served on the company's wealth management investment committee.
