PG&E names new board member
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999Mr Miller, AT&T's group president-corporate strategy and development, has nearly 25 years of leadership experience in senior positions with the company and its predecessors, SBC and the Pacific Telesis Group. Mr Miller's experience and expertise include leading the planning and execution of major strategic growth initiatives, heading AT&T's global enterprise operations in New Jersey and local telephone operations in the Southwest, and assignments overseeing various corporate functions including AT&T's government affairs activities. His election to the PG&E boards will be effective upon regulatory approval. Peter Darbee, chairman, CEO and president of PG&E Corporation, said: "Forrest brings a proven track record of success in leading businesses with large, complex, customer-driven operations, in both regulated and competitive markets. His skills and talents, together with his strong experience, make him an ideal candidate to join our boards."
