Norse Energy announces all-time high gas production in US
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999After the divestiture earlier in 2008 of all of its Jamestown NY Medina production assets for $67 million, Norse Energy set as a goal replacing that production of approximately 4.3 million cubic feet per day by 2008 end. Norse Energy has said that, with the on-going success of its Central Upstate NY Herkimer play, the company has not only met but has now exceeded its previous level of US natural gas production. Oivind Risberg, CEO of Norse Energy, said: "While the rapid growth in production is a significant achievement, Norse Energy remains firmly focused on continuing to build its reserve base and repeating our recent level of production growth."
