Gas Natural Cegas to invest E1 million for gasification of San Jorge
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999To date, Gas Natural Cegas has built over 10km of network in San Jorge for the first section of the urban center in Calle Jose Soriano Ramos and the network in the Nova Panoramica residential estate. Since it started supplies in November 2008, the company has supplied natural gas to 40 customers within the municipality, a figure which is expected to grow as the basic distribution network in San Jorge is completed, with which Gas Natural Cegas expects to reach 2,150 new customers. The arrival of natural gas to San Jorge is possible due to the construction of the Jana-Vinaroz-Benicarlo gas pipeline, which opened in May 2007. The company has invested approximately E5.3 million to build the 42km pipeline.
