BioTherm Energy appoints new chairman
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999Mr Morgan was formerly the CEO of South African public electricity utility Eskom from 1994 until 2000, and currently serves as a non-executive director of Eskom Holdings and Kumba Iron Ore. He will continue to serve on the Eskom board. Charles Liebenberg, founder and CEO of BioTherm Energy, said: "Allen is highly respected for his contributions to both Eskom and the electricity sector in South Africa. We are extremely fortunate to have someone of his stature and expertise joining our team at this critical juncture in the global and domestic economy. With his long history in the electricity industry, Allen will contribute enormously to the growth of BioTherm Energy's core business."
