Aker Solutions to supply subsea equipment to Petrobras

Aker Solutions will utilize its technology know-how for high-pressure/high-temperature deepwater conditions to engineer a solution for Petrobras. The scope of work is nine vertical subsea trees for 2,500 meters water depth, subsea control systems, two complete tool sets plus related accessories and spare parts. The complete scope of work will be managed, designed and engineered by Aker Solutions's manufacturing facility in Curitiba, Brazil, with support from Aberdeen, UK, for the subsea control systems. Delivery of the first subsea tree is scheduled for the end of 2010.
