Technip has secured a five-year inspection, repair and maintenance contract from the integrated energy firm ConocoPhillips (UK) for various assets in the North Sea and the east Irish Sea.

The contract, which will run until 2016 with two two-year options to extend, covers diver repair and maintenance solutions for ConocoPhillips’s existing UK subsea infrastructure.

The work will be executed by Technip’s operating centre in Aberdeen. Vessels from Technip’s fleet including the Orelia, the Skandi Achiever and the Wellservicer will be used for this project.

ConocoPhillips has its UK offices in Aberdeen and London. It also owns and operates the Theddlethorpe gas terminal at Mabelthorpe, the Teesside oil terminal at Seal Sands and the Rivers terminal at Barrow-in-Furness.
