Yarnmarket launches YarnMerchant.com
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999The majority of Yarnmarket.com inventory will be available to local yarn stores at discounted prices. Alex Nikifortchuk, COO of Yarnmarket, said: "Many local yarn shops have space restrictions, so they can't offer the depth and breadth of fibers that they'd like to offer their customers. YarnMerchant.com makes it easy for them to offer their customers a much broader range of yarns and accessories without depleting shelf space or financial resources." Mr Nikifortchuk added: "We created YarnMerchant.com to serve a growing need in the marketplace. Over the past few years, we've helped many retailers acquire yarns they don't regularly carry so they could maintain strong relationships with customers who wanted specific fibers. We decided to create a special area for these shop owners, and offer them discounted prices so they can remain competitive."
