Wal-Mart reportedly launches new label of CFLs
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999Reuters quoted Andy Barron, Wal-Mart general merchandise manager, as saying: "The introduction of our Great Value bulbs make compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) a more accessible option for our shoppers as we strive to sell 100 million CFLs by the end of 2007." Stating that the CFLs would use lesser energy than traditional incandescent bulbs, Wal-Mart said that these bulbs would have longer life and are also environment-friendly, revealed Reuters.
