Parfum d'Image eyes acquisitions in US - report
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999Mr Mager believes that the company's activities in the US could generate 25-30% of the total sales. CosmeticNews reported Mr Mager as saying: "Our aim is to generate annual sales of E100 million by 2010, so we will have to buy one or two companies [to grow that rapidly]. And the overall conditions for an acquisition are now in place, especially in the US, given the cost of the euro." Mr Mager further added: "Negotiations are in the pipeline in the US with ready-to-wear chains, drugstores and supermarkets. We have succeeded in building customer loyalty and conquering new important clients such as Carrefour – for which we did a makeup line and there are other projects."
