New SC Johnson ad campaign highlights company's environmental commitment
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999A range of SC Johnson brands - including Shout, Ziploc and Pledge – are represented in the ad, while the spot features Mr Johnson talking about the company's commitment to evaluating the safety and environmental impact of the ingredients that go into its products. "The families who buy our products are on my mind every single day," comments Mr Johnson in the advertisement. "We're constantly evaluating all the ingredients that go into our products to make them safer for your family and better for the environment for generations to come." In evaluating the raw materials that go into the company's products, SC Johnson uses its patented Greenlist process. In 2001, the firm devised the environmental classification system to transform the way the company measures, tracks and continues to advance its products to ensure the company's longstanding commitment to environmentally responsible products. "When consumers go to the shelf to choose any of SC Johnson's products, they trust that the raw materials in, for example, a can of Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner or a bottle of Shout Soil and Stain Remover, have been evaluated for their environmental impact," the company said.
