Spokesman Ron DeFeo said the stores to be closed include five in Atlanta and six in Dallas. Stating that the company does not plan to close any more of its Expo Design Center stores, Mr DeFeo said that the company had raised $8.5 billion by selling its wholesale distribution business HD Supply, and added that the proceeds would be used to partly buyback up to $22.5 billion of the company shares.
