Clarins reports weak H1 results
By NS Admin Published 30 November 1999The decline in profit was attributed to a weak US market and an increase in its advertising and restructuring costs. The company said that its North American division reported a fall in sales for the first half of the year. The company also said that it expects operating margins to decline over the year, due to product launches and investments in the US.
