Kronplatz to construct Tyrol Snow Park
The start of the snowpark is a big entrance table with a parking hut at 2,230m altitude. It is parallel to the ski lift, about 750-800 m long, and ends at 2,060m after a difference in altitude of 170m. Four different lines spread around the area of 58,300square meters. Pro Line: 3 sequent tables with 2 jumps each, that’s 6 kickers of 14m-20m flat and 7 rails and boxes. Medium Line: 5 sequent tables with 7 kickers of 6 m-15 m flat and 8 rails and boxes. Easy Line: 6-7 tables with 8 low jumps of 1m-6m flat and 7 rails and boxes which stick out only 20-30 cm from the snow. Furthermore, a Family Fun Line with 6 different wups and small ground loops, humps and a small castle is constructed for the ski schools. To top it all of an Easy Fun Line for everyone is planned down in the valley: 4 small sequent tables with 4 jumps, 2 m-6 m flat and 4 rails and boxes. All in all 100,000 m³ of snow is being used. Two shapers are needed to repair, maintain and prepare the park daily; additionally a snow crawler is going to groom it about 3 hours each day.
