Jacobs Bags Engineering Services Contract From Transport Scotland
As part of the four-year frameworks, Jacobs will provide engineering services ranging from feasibility studies and environmental appraisals through to the procurement and supervision of the construction of projects on site.
The frameworks will be used to assist Transport Scotland in the development of transport infrastructure projects, in particular those identified in their Strategic Transport Projects Review, which describes how Scotland's transport needs should be addressed over the next 20 years.
Bob Duff, vice president of Jacobs Group, said: “We have a well established working relationship with Transport Scotland, which the appointment to this framework will further strengthen. We look forward to continuing to provide value with a range of quality services that will contribute toward improving Scotland's strategic transport network.”
Will the contract help the agency to provide better services?
