We had written nothing down because there was nothing to write about
John Longworth, head of the British Chambers of Commerce. Longworth said that his business group was left disappointed by the lack of policies outlined by the Labour Party conference this week. He said they were “pen poised” and “listening with anticipation” to shadow business secretary Chuka Umunna, but were left disappointed by a lack of concrete policies to boost business.
