Walmart chief Raj Jain:
"We are able and willing to invest whatever it takes”
Head of Walmart in India, Raj Jain, is ramping up operations of the world’s biggest retailer in the country, after prime minister Manmohan Singh opened the gates for overseas retailers to enter the market earlier this month. The retail sector is forecast to expand 44 per cent by 2017, and Wal-Mart stands to be the first beneficiary of the change as it is already the biggest foreign company to offer wholesaling in partnership with local companies.
