Mr Proffitt began his U-Haul career in August 2001 as assistant general manager at the Sherwood U-Haul Center (742-059). Very soon after, he was promoted to general manager, holding that position at 742-059 for three years before transferring to U-Haul Company of Arkansas as a reservation manager in October 2005.

In March 2007, Mr Proffitt was promoted to area field manager, after which he went on to become the traffic control manager for the marketing company, the position he held until his recent promotion.

Now he will oversee all operations of UHC of Arkansas, including truck, trailer and storage rentals.

Mr Proffitt said he will strive to provide the level of service that U-Haul customers expect and deserve. He plans on using all available tools to drive revenue and increase profit throughout U-Haul Company of Arkansas.

Mr Proffitt said : “U-Haul Company of Arkansas has a lot of potential, and team members within have a great wealth of knowledge to share. I am looking forward to working with them and I truly believe that, as a team, we can improve peoples' lives with U-Haul products and services.”
