NavStar Signs Distribution Deal with Plaza Fleet Parts

Plaza Fleet Parts will start introducing NavStar's EOBR hardware and service to its customers in the coming weeks. NavStar will be an exhibitor at the Mid Atlantic Truck Show (MATS) in Louisville, Kentucky, from March 31st to April 2nd.

Exposure generated from the MATS show, as well as the newly announced agreement with Plaza Fleet Parts, will serve as NavStar's introduction to provide EOBR hardware and service too small to mid-size trucking and bus companies in the US.

NavStar Technologies is focused on the creation of products and services that provide tracking and monitoring of vehicles and high value cargo, equipment, and other valuable and personal assets.

Plaza Fleet Parts has been an independent provider of aftermarket truck parts in St. Louis for 60 years and has a client base of 350 small to mid-size fleet truck and bus companies. They deliver to the metropolitan St. Louis area, and serve a wider area in other parts of Missouri and Illinois.

Douglas Pritt, chairman and CEO of NavStar Technologies, said: “We are pleased to announce that Plaza Fleet Parts has agreed to act as a distributor for us. This is just one step in our strategic plan to bring our EOBR units to this newly created market.

“We are confident that our agreement with Plaza will not only bring in sales revenue for NavStar, but will also create opportunities to build additional relationships within the trucking industry as a whole.”

Will the agreement benefit the firms?
