Navistar Names Chief Communications Officer
Mr Spangler has 26 years of experience in automotive and commercial vehicle industry and will lead the firm's global corporate communications. He was associated with Tenneco for 12 years and served as vice president of global communications.
At Tenneco, Mr Spangler was responsible for corporate positioning, communications strategy and policy, executive communications, employee communications, media relations and public relations.
Mr Spangler served as director of global public relations and media relations for Arthur Andersen, prior to joining Tenneco. He also spent about eight years at Amoco Corporation in roles of increasing responsibility within the firm's public and government affairs group.

In April 2011, Navistar has named Troy Clarke as head of its Asia Pacific operations. Mr Clarke is responsible for the firm's efforts in China as it pursues joint venture with Chinese truck maker JAC.
Navistar is a holding company whose subsidiaries and affiliates produce International brand commercial and military trucks, MaxxForce brand diesel engines, IC Bus brand school and commercial buses, Monaco RV brands of recreational vehicles, and Workhorse brand chassis for motor homes and step vans.
