Chrysler Makes C-level Management Changes
Reid Bigland has been named as president and CEO of the Dodge Car Brand and head of the US Sales. Mr Bigland will continue as president and CEO of Chrysler Canada.
The company has appointed David Buckingham to the newly created role of COO of Chrysler Canada.
Mr Buckingham will report to Mr Bigland. Previously, he was vice president of sales at Chrysler Canada.
The company has also named Ralph Gilles as president and CEO of the newly created Street and Racing Technology (SRT) Brand, cross-brand performance unit of Chrysler, and the company's motorsports activities.
Mr Gilles will be responsible for all exterior and interior design activities for all Dodge, Ram, Chrysler and Jeep Brand vehicles.
The company has reassigned Joe ChamaSrour to international operations. Mr ChamaSrour will report to Mike Manley, president and CEO of the Jeep Brand and head of international operations at Chrysler Group.
Chrysler Group was formed in 2009 from a global strategic alliance with Fiat, which produces Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Mopar and Fiat vehicles and products.
With its Headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Chrysler Group's product lineup includes the Chrysler 300, Jeep Wrangler, Dodge Challenger and Ram 1500. Fiat contributes technology, platforms and powertrains for small- and medium-size cars, allowing Chrysler Group to offer an expanded product line including environmentally friendly vehicles.
