“No-one should be taken in by what is little more than a con trick”
Dot Gibson, general secretary of the National Pensioners Convention, is not impressed with the government’s plans for a universal pension rate. The biggest overhaul of the pensions system for a decade will start from April 2017, with a new weekly payment of £1444.
