BBC Radio Scotland's breakfast programme editor Nicolai Gentchev is to be BBC1's new Question Time editor after his predecessor, Ed Havard, left over the announcement of the show's relocation to Glasgow.
The ex-head of news at BBC Radio 5 Live Hayley Valentine is to be Question Time's new executive editor.
There has been some controversy over the shifting of operations from London to Glasgow, with staff maintaining that they need to be located at the heart of the UK's political world.
The move will be made in September.
