Oprah Winfrey to launch new show
Oprah's Next Chapter to replace The Oprah Winfrey Show, which is due to end in September 2011

Oprah's new show, replacing the iconic 25-year-old The Oprah Winfrey Show, will be launched on her channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), which will begin from 1 January 2011. OWN is a joint venture between Winfrey and Discovery Communications.
Oprah's Next Chapter will be an hour-long regular series featuring interviews with celebrities in countries such as India and China, among others. The show will be produced by Harpo Studios and is likely to air two to three times a week. Scheduling and details for the new prime-time series have still not been disclosed.
Director James Cameron, pop-culture icon Lady Gaga, American author Toni Morrison and former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice are slated to appear on Winfrey's new show.
