Channel 4 to launch comedy roasts
Channel 4 will launch a series of comedy roasts tomorrow in which celebrity guests will endure a bar
The shows are the UK versions of the US comedy institution, hosted by Dean Martin in the '60s.
The three comedy roasts feature Bruce Forsyth, Sharon Osbourne and Chris Tarrant, who will be mocked and insulted by Jack Dee, Sean Lock, Gok Wan, Barry Cryer, Alan Carr, Sir Elton John and Sir Terry Wogan. Jimmy Carr will act as ringmaster.
The first episode will show Jonathan Ross ripping apart the British showman and entertainer Bruce Forsyth and how the latter responds to Ross' insults.
The comedy roast shows are produced by Will Macdonald, who has been working on the project since the last five years.
