Cazenove dies of septicaemia

The actor was taken to St Thomas' Hospital in London after he collapsed at his home in February. He was diagnosed with septicaemia, commonly known as blood poisoning.

Cazenove shot to fame with his role in the 1970s BBC series The Duchess of Duke Street. He made appearances on screen, stage and radio, but the role of Ben Carrington in Dynasty made him a household name.

Cazenove appeared in the Hollywood film Three Men and a Little Lady in 1990 and A Knight's Tale in 2001. He returned to UK television the same year.
