Virgin Media unveils new set-top box
The high definition box will be available from March.
By New Statesman Published 17 March 2010It is called the V HD Box. The company will make the device available to customers from 22 March for no additional monthly subscription fee.
New and existing television customers can get the new V HD Box for a one-time cost of around £50, plus a £35 installation charge. The new set-top box requires customers to subscribe or upgrade to the 'M+' TV tier or above.
Virgin Media is likely to introduce more HD channels to its television service later this year.
