BBC radio will move many shows out of London

BBC radio to move popular shows out of London in effort to strengthen production in other regions of

BBC Radio 4 programmes "Any Questions?" and "Any Answers?," hosted by Jonathan Dimbleby, will move to Bristol. 'The Food' Programme" and "Food and Farming Awards" will shift to Birmingham. BBC Radio 7's "Big Toe Books" programme will relocate to Glasgow.

All the shows will relocate in April 2011.

The BBC's audio and music department, headed by Tim Davie, which currently makes around 33 per cent of its output outside London, aims to increase this to 38 per cent by 2012.
