ITV launches technology recruitment drive

ITV will recruit 30 new technology experts and managers, as part of a comprehensive review of all it

The television channel will outsource routine back office functions to the technology consulting and outsourcing company Accenture, by this June.

ITV's chief information officer Richard Cross has reportedly said that the aim will be to refocus the internal technology team away from operational activities, toward value creation, flexibility and innovation.

The job advert placed in the Sunday Times shows 16 new job types, divided into four categories - innovation and business change, airtime/online sales, television production & post-production techniques, and architecture & governance service delivery.

The recruitment drive also foresees the need for eight business technology consultants.
