The branding will go live on 15 February for the flagship Nickelodeon channel. Nick Jr, Nick Jr 2, NickToons and NickToons Replay will follow in the second quarter of 2010. The rebranding will for the first time align all Nickelodeon global channels under a unified logo and on-air brand identity.
The children's TV broadcaster has announced the rebranding project with a new logo for its network of six UK channels. It said it has replaced the previous 'splat' symbol with a simpler logo.
The revamp covers all aspects of the brand, including TV channels, online, consumer products, recreation and theatricals.
The Nickelodeon network reaches over ten million viewers a month and is available in 12.7m cable and satellite homes.
