Michael Grade joins James Grant Group as non-executive chairman

Former ITV chairman Michael Grade is to join the James Grant Group (JGG) as non-executive chairman.

The move allows Grade, who worked as a theatrical agent with the Grade Organisation in the sixties, to return to the talent agency sector.

JGG was founded by the former Radio 1 DJ Peter Powell and Russ Lindsay. It also includes the talent agency James Grant Media Management (JGMM) which looks after key ITV names such as 'Ant and Dec'.

The group also represents ITV stars such as 'This Morning' hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, interviewer Piers Morgan and game show host Vernon Kay.

Grade is already the non-executive chairman of Pinewood Studios and a board member of Charlton Athletic Football Club.
