Why is it that you generalise so? Please get your facts straight before making such grossly distorted claims. Yes, there are some Islamic States that are bad but others are nowhere near as extreme as you say. Arabs are semites, why be so anti-semitic?
Another murderous racist attack on Jews in France once again by fundamentalist Moslems. They don't want any Jews in Israel. and they want to kill them in France. it really is time people fought back against these scum or at the very least deport them back to the Islamist s.itholes they came from.

Specific religious groups have enjoyed a priviledged position within some society's. As "good governance" becomes more allied with secularism, multi-culturalism and fundamental human rights, so religious extremism becomes more prevalent. How can Israel reconcile being both a "secular" and "Jewish" State? Giving up the priviledges that some religions confer upon their membership is difficult. Many religions see themselves as being under attack. In some respects, it is this struggle for fairness, regardless of religion, that has superceded the old "class" battles.
Pose the same question to the ISLAMIC Republic of Iran, the Syrian ARAB Republic, Saudi Arabia which has the KORAN cited on its flag, Egypt, Libya Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia all of whom claim the necessity for its citizens to abide by Islam and apartheid Pakistan which ethnically cleanses all non-Moslems.
It really doesn't matter which Judeo-Christian based religion (Islam is but one of many) you apply the question to - at the peripheries, they are almost all blighted by the same religious intolerance that originated from Judaism. There are many shades of opinion within each religious sub-set ranging from the tolerant to the intolerant. Much of the religious intolerance in Israel originates from Eastern European migrants, some of whom are classified by Israel as neo-nazi.
I see your point. Each time I go to Israel I see women being stoned in the streets and Gays hung from lamposts. I see churches being bombed and Christian being ethnically cleansed. Hence why people like you continually harp on about Israel and never have a bad word to say about it's cuddly neighbors.

Sunbeam, I lived for nearly 15 years in the Middle East ~ I never saw a church being bombed nor Christians being ethnically cleansed. My Catholic and Anglican friends there went peacefully to Churches to go through their rituals from a Bronze Age form of worship. Indians and Pakistanis worked together in relative harmony. Gays were not hung from lamp-posts. Wherever those atrocities, you refer to, do happen, it is wrong and should be condemned. As a mere "goy" of the "goyim", might I suggest that your attitudes and religious convictions might be symptomatic of the problem?
what utter crap. In Iraq hundreds of thousands of Christians have been ethnically cleansed. Scores of their churches have been bombed. In Egypt a terror campaign has been going on for years against Coptic Christians whose churches have been systematically destroyed. In apartheid Pakistan Christians have been sentenced to death for practicing their own religion. In Nigeria, Muslims have been blowing up churches and systematically murdering Christians for the last 4 years. In Lebanon more than 3 million Maronite Christians have been ethnically cleansed. In Bethlehem the Palestinian Authority has orchestrated the ethnic cleansing of Christians. In islamofascist Iran Gays are hung from lamposts in public squares (try YouTube - they enjoy filming Gays being hung!) In Gaza the penalty for being Gay is death by crucifixion. etc etc etc.

The Israeli political scene includes many parties which have extreme racist, fascist and ultra religious views. Some of these parties are included in the Israeli government because of their PR voting system so it should come as little surprise that racism appears to be rife in the Jewish state.

The US Displaced Persons Commission in September 1950 declared that:
"The Baltic Waffen SS Units (Baltic Legions) are to be considered as separate and distinct in purpose, ideology, activities, and qualifications for membership from the German SS, and therefore the Commission holds them not to be a movement hostile to the Government of the United States.".
If I have defended the Waffen-SS (and it should be borne in mind that your memory of previous threads is usually poor) then so has the US.
