Recognition for Staggers in Total Politics Blog Awards

Rolling blog ranked third, while four NS bloggers also win plaudits.

We’re delighted to see that the Staggers has come third in the Total Politics Blog Awards’ list of top media blogs.

It’s not just our rolling blog that did well, with individual New Statesman bloggers also well represented on the list.

Mehdi Hasan is number two (after Paul Waugh in the top spot). Our legal blogger David Allen Green comes in at 14, with our media blogger Steven Baxter not far behind at 19. The Staggers’ own George Eaton is at 34.

We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us, and also to offer our congratulations to our counterparts at the Spectator‘s Coffee House for topping the list of the best media blogs. The winners of other categories will be announced over the coming week.
