What Dave said to Nick
The strange world of Cameron and Clegg, part 54.
By Jon Bernstein Published 30 April 2011 11:45
2008 is like another lifetime. Back then, David Cameron was asked by the GQ editor, Dylan Jones, for his favourite political joke. Cameron replied: "Nick Clegg, at the moment."
No more. Forget yesterday's nuptials; approaching the anniversary of the Downing Street Garden romance, another bank holiday surely beckons.
During the past 11 months we have learned much about their burgeoning relationship. For example, thanks to our recent guest editor Jemima Khan we know that the pair play tennis (Cameron won there) and that Nick calls David "Dave".
And now, courtesy of the Times's resident lip reader (£), we now know what Dave said to Nick during the royal wedding. Sizing each other up in their finest Moss Bros, Cameron confided in Clegg:
I had to have my trousers let out.
The ersatz spat over the AV referendum well and truly over, the intimacy of their relationship has returned.

Thank you very much! Here is my 2 cents, I just printed Coupons for free. You can print coupons before you shop by searching "Printapons" online
After careful inspection what he actually said was "Put your hands down my trousers and perhaps I'll let you out."
Politics can be tough, but marriages can be tougher.
In a Lib Dem - Conservative marriage bed, Clegg will continue to be under Cameron’s thumb, in spite of signing up to the gym to pump some ‘Muscular Liberalism’.
I found an interesting perspective on

Cameron wears the trousers in that relationship.
I bet Lib Dems love that Clegg is so submissive.
"Trust me Nick, you will get financially rewarded at a later date but you will have to wait".
That bullingdon suit is good for a few more years yet.Samcam is to be congratulated on Not wearing a hat; hope this sets a trend.
or he might have said "Remember, I'm the daddy here".
