Australian election: the Cartoon

Watch as the Australian election gets animated.

Regular readers will know that I'm a big fan of Taiwan's Apple Daily, who memorably brought us "Bullygate": the movie and, more recently, Sarah Palin's life in animated form. So I'm pleased to see that they've taken up the challenge of dramatising Australia's recent election campaign.

Highlights include the opposition leader, Tony Abbott, firing an AK-47 at a boatful of asylum-seekers (his campaign slogan is the demagogic "Stop the boats"), an appearance by the unfairly overlooked Australian Sex Party and a cameo by the country's favourite psychic animal, Crocodile Harry.

Ah, Apple Daily is frickin brilliant. I'm still laughing at the skit they did with Brown punching everyone!
