The Prince of Wales leads veterans in a service to mark the 65th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day this morning, but rather than bring you images from that event, far better to offer these from 1945:

A great day in world history. A terrible tyrannical regime was smashed.
We should all pause and think what the world would be like today if the Nazis and the Japanese had won the war...
The new statesman would probably be supporting the nazies if they had won. Since both are Judophobic.
thats "Nazis" by the way, and its highly doubtful that anyone in the NS actually has an irrational hatred of Jews.
Really Max, do try and grow up a little, otherwise you will miss out on actual debate, as opposed to name calling.
I shouldn't need to add this, but with you in mind I will, but I fully support Israels' right to exist, whilst condeming the Human Rights abuses carried out by that state. Nor do I seek to excuse terrorism and oppression from any side.
