Labour leadership: quick quiz

Can you guess which candidates have smoked cannabis, or who is always late?

This week's New Statesman (out today) features exclusive interviews with all five Labour leadership candidates.

As well as the main interviews, we asked each candidate to fill out a short questionnaire. See if you can guess who said what:

  • Which candidates admitted to smoking cannabis?
  • Who says they would have been an actor if not a politician?
  • Who is always late?
  • Who says they can't tell jokes?
  • Who says their most prized possession is a special gift from Gordon Brown?

Read the interviews to find out:

Ed Miliband

David Miliband

Ed Balls

Andy Burnham

Diane Abbott

The NS Podcast #204: Carswell and Collapse

The New Statesman podcast.

Helen and Stephen are joined by Jonn Elledge to lament our exit from the EU, discuss what they feel about the EEA, and decide who they loathe more: Douglas Carswell or Daniel Hannan. Jason Cowley and George Eaton then introduce our special-issue on Labour's collapse. And you ask us: what do we think of the Labour Leave MPs?
