Published on 23 June, the UN World Drugs Report 2010 revealed that while the global supply of cocaine has fallen dramatically over the past decade, and the value of the market has halved since 1995, the number of users has increased by nearly two million since the end of the 20th century.

Europe, where the number of users has doubled over roughly the same period, has to shoulder a large portion of the blame.
