Last night, President Barack Obama chose an innovative way of explaining his attempts to stop Congress from allowing interest rates on government-subsidised student loans to double. In an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, he became the first sitting president to take part in the show's regular feature, "slow jam the news". The stunt (as well as the message) went down very well with the student-heavy audience, and the YouTube clip has already notched up tens of thousands of hits. Can't quite see Mitt Romney doing the same, can you?
