Latest attack on Romney: he speaks French!
Watch out there's a moderate about, ad comparing GOP frontrunner to John Kerry warns.
By Teresa Goncalves Published 13 January 2012 17:07
Watch out everyone, Republican frontrunner Mitt Romney has been fooling us all. Over the last few weeks he has been carefully masquerading as a conservative Republican candidate but new information has revealed that he is actually a moderate: he speaks French!
Newt Gingrich's campaign team have left Romney's business ethics behind and moved onto a different angle, airing a television ad revealing the unspeakable... "Mitt Romney is a moderate".
Moreover, the similiarties between Romney and one time Democrat presidential hopeful John Kerry are uncanny. Not only have the two held offices in Massachusetts, they both have hair that everyone likes to comment on.
But the most striking similarity of all is that Romney speaks French, just like the former senator!

There's noticeably a bundle to find out about this. I assume you made sure good factors in features also.
Pretty section of content. I just stumbled upon your web site and in accession capital to assert that I
get actually enjoyed account your blog posts. Any way I will be subscribing to your feeds and even
I achievement you access consistently quickly.
"Missing the point"
don't think so. the point right now isn't Republican v Democrat, that's a whole other game, to commence after this hilarious bout of public self-mutilation by the Republican candidates.
whatever swing voters do exist, will have had months of attack ads disseminated via the interwebs. so when POTUS elections come around Democrats can just provide URLs via twitter/facebook/etc etc of Republican paid for attack ads, and general back stabbing/infighting.
that's the point you keep failing to address Cheesers...
"most voters are secure in their side of liberal vs conservative."
that used to be paramount. however, as the attack ads illustrate, some of the front runners have stood on platforms that are anything but conservative. some were/are downright progressive. the united front that was always the strongest suit of the GOP has fragmented ideologically, and even worse news is that there is another conflict, that of Christian allegiance/interpretation. many religious Republicans aren't too keen on Mormons, or have i got that all wrong too...?
http://www.pewforum.org/Politics-and-Elections/Romneys-Mormon-Faith-Like...
nope, recent research says i am spot on.
(see what i did there Cheesers? i provided evidence rather than make things up)

"state your thoughts but make nice"
fine, go on then, prove me wrong. i repeat nicely; you can't even do a multiple choice, you repeat lies about me that i have corrected more than once, and you won't answer where on the globe you are.
so prove me wrong, otherwise we are done.
way to go Newt!
i love this Republican bloodbath, stabbing each other in the back with the exact same venom they normally reserve for the opposition. c'est tres amusant, n'est pas?
@jankers: OK, now you are engaging-proving you actually read. Good boy! "Repub mutilation"- all Repub/conserv groups will come together when the time comes- I agree it's somewhat rough now, but you ain't seen nothing yet when the General election comes- it will be THE most vicious election run-up we've ever seen. "Swing voters"- you & I can just disagree about % of voters this represents- I think much smaller group than you-mainly younger disappointed people currently re-thinking their future prospects. % of youngsters w/hourly service jobs & living w/parents is historically high right now. "Mormon factor"- South Carolina will be the test- if Romney clearly wins there- then the GOP candidate will most likely be him. You understimate voter push-back from 0bama-care & bailouts- the right/conservatives are seething & the recession economy will sway many. Best.
@jankle: I've got you at least acknowledging 15.2% US unemployment, loser. Hope you're watching US dollar/euro parity ratio this year- save your pennies big boy..again, the US accepts 1 million "legal" aliens each year, what has Dutch country done, Van der Sloot?
"I agree it's somewhat rough now"
there's an understatement, unprecedented would be more accurate. i have to guess you are very young or incredibly naive if you think otherwise.
"all Repub/conserv groups will come together when the time comes"
you wish. the current vicious blood letting is not conducive to putting Humpty back together again when the smoke clears. don't take my word for it, and i won't take yours. we'll just wait and see...
"You understimate voter push-back from 0bama-care & bailouts- the right/conservatives are seething & the recession economy will sway many. "
problem for the Republicans is that there is a genuine recovery. i realise that they despise it, and would rather things got worse asap. after all, their behaviour in both Houses show that obstruction no matter what is the game (see debit ceiling, payroll tax disasters).
as Daniel Patrick Moynihan said; "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts."
if Republicans wish to deal in facts, they are fucked. their best tactic is to play their strongest suit; lie profusely, utilise as many infantile ad homs (Obamacare, Obami, he's a Muslim etc etc etc), and apportion all the blame to Democrats.
you know i am right Cheesy.
^
"I've got you at least acknowledging 15.2% US unemployment"
and do you know how this happened? because we both could review verifiable reliable data. something you failed to do for days. hope you've learned your lesson.
so for your next lesson, this data we agree on shows a change from 16.6% to 15.2% in 1 year.
does that mean;
a) unemployment is getting worse
b) unemployment is getting better
c) unemployment is unchanged
d) dunno man, i am too fucking thick to figure it out
well genius?
btw you haven't answered how come you post on GMT hours. are you too embarrassed to say where you are right now?
@jankosloot: see Jan 15 19:58. I won't do your work for you & you need mucho. Final time, if you honestly think the US economy is in great shape- you're exactly what I thought- a euro with no clue about US economy & politics. You read the legacy media dribble w/your socialist glasses & think you are an expert. Huntsman just endorsed Mittens Romney- all is forgiven there. Mitt looks likely to be the nominee. Your man 0bama-lama may not even agree to any debates b/c he is a teleprompter empty suit & Dem Senate has no budget for -going on 3 years now- stupendous! It's 3 yrs of NO Growth with never before seen levels of printing of money thanks to the Harvard grad. Landslide baby, can't wait!

Good post John, but you can't argue facts with Jackass. He thinks attack ads are something new. Watch the silence in here when the Democrats get going.
@jankers: "bloodbath". Most of this is media driven. The Internet is the piece you are missing. Dinosaur TV media is losing viewership. The misery index in US is off the charts. QE3 Fed action will fire it up more as well as summer gasoline prices increase. If a fair election can be had, 0bomania is gone.
^
"Most of this is media driven."
is this some sort of joke? you think the media are forcing Newt and the other candidates to make attack ads about one another?
"The Internet is the piece you are missing."
speak for yourself old timer. and it's exactly the interwebs that ensures these Republican on Republican attack ads are so effective. in fact the whole globe gets to witness the spectacle of the current crop of Crooks and Liars doing their dirty laundry in public. makes the assassination of Caesar look like a quaint pass time.
"Good post John"
the kiss of death right there...
"you can't argue facts with Jackass."
is that so ButtFucks? ok then, let's hear a couple of 'facts' that i have argued against, denied, or whatever. go on, shouldn't take a brilliant man like you very long. and do make sure you provide the source of your facts, otherwise you might as well just make stuff up.
"Watch the silence in here when the Democrats get going."
you actually think i am a fan of Obama and/or the Democratic party...?!
@janksta: "a genuine recovery". Yeah, right.. You must not study US economics. U6 figures (do you know what that is?- look it up) is historically high. The walk-aways & underemployed are not buying anything. Businesses are hiring but it is at very low #'s & mainly hourly service jobs. No expansion right now except for Fed jobs. Banks can't even get to all their foreclosure evictions. Rental homes are being snapped up- real estate is broken & 0boe will cut the Military (think jobs lost). The US is on front edge of double-dip recession & all in time for the 2012 elections. Dutch boy, you have no clue.
^
ffs you can't even do a bloody multiple choice, you repeat lies about me that i have corrected more than once, and you won't answer where on the globe you are.
done with you.
Jankquistador: You are so vile, why would anyone want to tell you anything. You probably sit in the corner by yourself @ parties. Time to change your Depends viejo.
^
"U6 figures (do you know what that is?- look it up) is historically high."
you make the claim, you provide the sources lazy bones. not doing your homework for you young man.
@jankers: You honestly don't know what it is, do you... Ever heard of Google? try www.shadowstats.com for starters. U6 = 15.6%. Main page, top graph. Please read more & less TV.
^
lol. the lone warrior you link to is on a crusade against bad statistics! he "exposes and analyzes flaws in current U.S. government economic data and reporting".
now that's funny. i'll stick to more conservative proven sources of data, rather than lone nutters. so what does the US Federal agency, charged with matters statistical in the labour force of the US, have to say? predictably enough they published polar opposite findings;
http://www.bls.gov/
the real unemployment figure is 8.5% not the 15.6% you and Don Quixote magic together.
now i understand why you never provide your sources: they are delusional fantasy.
@jankers: goofball, U6 unemployment is a formally tracked number you idiot...
@janksta: your listed site won't track walk-aways & underemployed- it's kind of the reason why the Internet, non-legacy media & individual research is important. Here is the closest your referenced website will say about their lack of coverage on the real U rate: "Because of the difficulty of developing an objective set of criteria which could be readily used in a monthly household survey, no official govt statistics are available on the total # of persons who might be viewed as underemployed. Even if many or most could be identified, it would still be difficult to quantify the loss to the economy of such underemployment". So even though the number is out there (U6), they won't list it or comment on it. I chuckle when I think of you, a Dutch man, trying to tell an American how great our current economy is. Loser...
@jankers: OK, one last note..your referenced website does list U6, see Table A-15 Alternative measures of labor underutilization
(think you can find it?), shows U6 at 15.6% for Nov 2011, 15.2% for Dec 2011. Still a loser..
Well kiss mah grits. Ah knew thar wus somethang shifty bout him. He kaint clame ta be Cajun eirthr. He's dun fer.
@Microtech
"videos like that make them look just as intolerant and misguided"
just the videos?
tell you what though, can't think of a single nation that has got is absolutely right. some are closer than others, many more so than the USA.
^
hilarious bit of back peddling;
"your listed site won't track walk-aways & underemployed"
(my site? it's your Federal Government's ffs) yet a few minutes later;
"your referenced website does list U6"
lol
though, mea culpa, i now realise i was wrong to compare 2 different US data sets. what is great though is that now we agree on the correct source for this data. and what can we see from this? here goes;
U6 at end of 2010 16.6%
U6 at end of 2011 15.5%
that's what is called an 'improvement' is it not? good. just like i said then. and as your Federal Agency says in their most recent Employment Situation Summary (same site of course); unemployment is trending down, not up as you wish/dream/imagine/fantasise...
"I chuckle when I think of you, a Dutch man, trying to tell an American how great our current economy is. "
which i have never done, not once. i think your economy stinks, as do both your main political parties. but the current POTUS at least seems to be fixing things incrementally for the better.
and for a fact you could learn an awful lot from the Dutch regarding employment.
http://portalseven.com/employment/unemployment_rate_euro.jsp?region=nl
your Federal Agency shows The Netherlands with an unemployment rate of around 4% where you have a whopping 8% or so. and who did you think the losers were you silly boy..?
@jankers: Missing the point- There may be 15-20% at most that are in the middle- can be swayed by media-driven over-coverage of the blithering tripe ads- most voters are secure in their side of liberal vs conservative. It's the younger, less-seasoned voters that are now turning on 0ba-meister- their messiah & vision are dead. Most here in US are mad at BOTH sides & too large over-reaching GVT! You over estimate US media influence in the age of Twitter, Facebook, email & Internet. But I understand your euro-slant, it's just inaccurate. Cheers!
@jankeister: Big improvement. I've got you reading & 2. you are now discussing the info you read- keep it going! You now acknowledge & understand U6, a figure you didn't even know about 3 days ago, marvelous.. "improvement in the US economy"? you can't be that galactically stupid, can you? Your man Barry 0 has tripled the spending, QE3 coming soon, snuck in 0bamacare Christmas Eve (which would nationalize 1/6 of US economy) & has a staff of crony crooks & thieves (at least the ones we know of due to un-vetted Czar appointments) & now his end-around the Constitution on forced appointments during a Congressional recess. Your Hollandaize sauce country could get pulled down with the lowering parity of Euro vs US dollar this year- but you still ride the sinking boat idea of MR Messiah over here. US legally accepts 1 million aliens each yr, what have you done? Your typical numbskull thinking is part of the problem.
@Cheesy
"why would anyone want to tell you anything"
that's the nature of debates and discussion you freak.
to date you imply your answer to that simple multiple choice a few posts above would be a) but i allowed you option d) since i have been 'debating' with you for some time now. you can just provide your own answer, fuck knows why you don't...
"You are so vile"
i am so pleased you are genuinely upset by me rubbing your nose in your own filth. i hope you've learned your lesson you cretinous fake.
@jank-sloot: thought you were done- I didn't think so. The absurdity of lecturing a national on what's happening in their own country escapes you I guess...alcoholic, maybe?? Or just hate the cold winters in the Nethers as a senior? I knows it's tough..Curse words make you seem uneducated- empty vocabulary. Again, state your thoughts but make nice.
@Cheesy Boy
"I've got you reading & 2."
in English pls? or Spanish....
"Your man Barry 0 "
he's not 'my man' dipstick, he is though your President. proves your comprehensive skills are depleted once more, i wrote this only a few hours ago; "i think your economy stinks, as do both your main political parties."
so the rest of your post is just more of you blowing smoke up your own useless fat arse. also nice to see you getting all upset about Holland's far superior handling of their nation's economy. btw what time is it where you are posting from, you're not in the US are you? it just looks like you post during regular GMT hours...are you even a Yank..?
