My concern is that we are potentially upsetting our members and activists when I have one goal, and that is to obtain a Conservative majority government in 2015. Anything which upsets any of my members, I don’t like to see that.

Upsetting members Emma, seriously? Where exactly are your voters going to go?
With any luck, the Tory Taliban tendency will go to UKIP, thus splitting the right-wing vote, and so serving - albeit unintentionally - to save the country from this vicious, incompetent and corrupt government.
I hope so too! Equality for Gay People and the collapse of the Coalition will be a double victory for those on the left/centre!
