'Ghastly' have you not eyes in your head, man? She is sharp, witty, and highly intelligent and a formidable political opponent, who do we have, that, toad. 'Jo Brand'.

Isn't Vorderman married to or the partner of the Daily Mai's Des Kelly. Must have played a part in all this...

This blog is long enough. Those who slate CV but still say that they would have sex with her are deeply sad. In summary:
W Self - A*
S Williams - A
L Adonis - B
D Dimbleby - C
B Johnson - D
C Voreman - unclassified.

I've given up watching QT since they started going down the 'sleb route. So I guess I didn't miss much...

Totally agree - she was cringeworthy. Thank goodness Will Self was there, although she was thoroughly immune to him and his clear, incisive logic washed over her without the faintest flicker of comprehension from her.

She's good at simple arithmetic. That seems to be all she has going for her though.

CV whined like an 8 year old not getting an ice-cream. What an immature, ignorant, angry woman. She was not just appalling but offensive. She may be decent at a quiz game, but out of her depth in anything with adult intellectual content.

Carol Vorderman still does it big time for me!!!!!!!

Was she drunk? She kept interrupting everyone!

She was absolutely right. British justice has become a joke.

William Black's picture

She was absolutely awful.

But I'd definitely still shag her.

I have just watched this on i player, had to find somehere to register my feeling of utter contempt for Ms Vorderman after that partisan and sickeningly demagogic performance. It was obvious that she had set out to come across as a glamorous, pensive yet 'of the people' sort, and most disgusting was when she read out in a grave and self-righteous tone, a statement she had written down about the right of James Bulgers' parents to know the truth, as if she is a spokesperson for the family...I felt embarassed for her.

This article and the comments (most of them anyway) have confirmed what I have always believed about Carol Vorderman. If someone was to set up a Facebook group asking for a complete media ban on CV, I'd be the first to join.

quoting Mark ''Well I thought she was superb. She managed to communicate to the wider audience what true conservatism is about'

Oh yes,she certainly did that!
And you can be sure that the Tories will be furious that she did after all that kidding on to the nation that they had changed. How easy was that to expose the truth behind Cuddly Cammys mask!
I would personally like to thank CV for reminding those who are of an age to remember the viciousness of the Torys and who may have been falling for the PR. Cameron is a front for the same old bulldog attitude and pitbull heart that is the Conservative Party

She was exactly the same on previous QT appearances, except without the Tory moniker. I'm not convinced it is she who is the nakedly partisan one here...

I am sure they could have found a panelist who was younger, easier on the eye and more capable for a tenth of Carol's fee. It's been done before.

Carol Vorderman will have lost a lot of fan's on Thursday's QT. She looked at her prepared scripts more than the cameras, was rude & abrasive to other panellists, & needs coaching on how to conduct yourself on that kind of programme. David Cameron must be very annoyed.

I was not surprised by CVs ugly performance on Question Time having been appalled by her previous TV advertisements encouraging people to solve their financial problems by taking out extortionate personal loans. Not so good at maths after all!

I was just so thoroughly annoyed at Carol for donning the transparent “citizen-Vorderman” hat when it suited her, but then using her pulpit to single-mindedly bash anybody but the Tories.

I don’t mind celebrities getting involved in the public political discourse - in fact, as we've learned from the 2008 US elections, they can help re-engage the disenchanted and disenfranchised.

Saying that - I can’t take it when they abuse their position of trust and obfuscate the fact that from time to time, they are, as Carol is, paid-up political operatives and not custodians of the general will. "I can't take the lot of them" she says. 'Tick' goes the 'SHE'S JUST LIKE ME' box in the minds of daily mail readers everywhere. Cue three minutes of 'Labour this, Labour that, how many times can I put the word Labour in the same sentence as bad things?'. It's cheap. It's patronising. It's dangerous.

But thank God for Will Self. And yes, my goatee is rather fetching.

Well I'd still Consonant Vowel Consonant Consonant her

Why have the Conservatives enlisted the services of this vacuous narcissist? Is Cameron subversively attempting to lose voters? Her mediocrity is dangerous and toxic..

CVs performance on Question Time just confirmed my belief, that she should have taken the pay cut and stayed on Countdown. She was embarrassing and David Dimbleby should have pulled her up when she interupted the audience member who was making a point.
Will Self was brilliant I thought.
