Is Boris the last politician who needs better PR?
You've gotta get this on the air!
Those sponsorship figures - of which he's so proud - will undoubtedly now be more widely heard.
Broadcast on the BBC's lunchtime bulletin, and less than a month after he called rival Ken Livingstone a "fucking liar" during a row in a lift, Boris Johnson today accused journalist Tim Donovan of talking . . . a bit more than rubbish, about him and News International. The BBC London political editor has reported on Johnson's attempts to make commercial deals with the Murdoch-owned publishing group at the same time it was being investigated by the Metropolitan police - the capital's own force for which the mayor is responsible - over phone hacking.
