Last night was the White House correspondent's dinner, a big black-tie event at which presidents traditionally show a lighter side. President Barack Obama's speech was a laugh a minute, with gags directed at Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Congress, and the secret service.

Nor was Obama exempt from the mockery. Comedian Jimmy Kimmel also gave a speech. "You remember when the country rallied around you in hopes of a better tomorrow?" He said. "That was hilarious."
