The gif that keeps on giving.

Surely the highlight of the Olympic closing ceremony was the quick cutaway to the VIP area during the Spice Girls performance. It captured David Cameron, Boris Johnson, Ed Miliband and their wives dancing with... let's go with "abandon".
This being 2012, year of the Great Gif Resurgence, this was doing the rounds on Twitter within minutes.

What's interesting here is that David Cameron looks mildly embarrassing as he half-heartedly claps along, while Boris - executing a full-on swivel-hipped, thumbs-up boogie - mysteriously manages to be less excruciating as a result.
Bonus points to whoever can identify the man on the right wiping away a tear, as well he might.

They all look like idiots. Why should people dance when they can't? they should stick to being useless as that is what they do best - actually where is the chancellor?
It's nice to know that when Boris leads the Tories into an election the NS will be 100% behind his campaign, poor Ed!
Hugh Robertson, Sports Minister is the one wiping a tear from his eye.
Is that Ed Miliband behind the woman who's behind Boris? He actually moves quite well. Boris is doing 'Dad Dancing'. And David Cameron is politely applauding the gospel choir at the local Church Hall....^^
Enough of Boris, please.
Politicians really are scoundrels. They'll do anything, however ridiculous it is, if they think it will make them more popular. Labour can count themselves lucky Brown isn't still leader. I would pay good money to see him dancing to the Spice Girls. What came first? Did Cameron see Milliband dancing and think "I must dance too or the voters will think I'm not as hip as Ed". Or was it the other way round?
Yet again, Boris let's the side down. When is he going on that diet and the two hours exercise session? Bunter Boris will have to cut down on the Shish Kabob and the Turkish Delight too. When in Rome do as the Romans do. Any Classical Scholar should know that.
Don't you just love that Olympic 'junk' food! [ Noticed Brand Police refused to allow Double-Gold-Medallist Mo to display his banner. Self-advertising is a NO NO ]
