By David Allen Green Published 08 September 2011 19:02The High Court will hear the appeal of Paul Chambers against his conviction on 10 November 2011. The appeal by case stated will be made by barristers Ben Emmerson QC and Sarah Przybylska, and I will be acting as his solicitor through my firm Preiskel & Co LLP.
The hearing will be almost exactly one year since Doncaster Crown Court on 11 November 2010 upheld his conviction under section 127(1) of the Communications Act 2003.

Have you viewed the 'Rogues' Gallery' aligning the walls of the entrance hall to the HIgh Court?
Don't hold out much hope!
Judge and Jury
One tries to hoold out hope that justice will previal, proper justice, in what should have been a slap on the wrist in the first place.Good luck to you all.
The way Paul Chambers has been treated is a disgrace. I hope his conviction will be overturned although I am skeptical. The powers at be never like to recognize their mistakes. http://www.lifeinsurancehq.org/
Can you add a link to the original story(ies) please?

Finally ... Best of luck for Paul and his legal team!
I would say 'break a leg', David, but I fear some security person somewhere might construe it as an instruction.
Anyway, best of luck to Paul and his legal eagles.
Way too long to have to wait to have justice. Hope you wipe the floor with them.
Appalling that it has had to get this far and that Paul has suffered so much in the process but it's some comfort that you guys are all still fighting the good fight.
Chambers will get the result he deserves.
I'm inspired by the strength pf resolve shown by DAG and PC in persisting so determinedly to right this injustice.
Here's hoping that our High Court lives up to the esteem in which it is traditionally held.
Good luck. I hope this madness can be ended and common sense is restored.
