Lib Dem conference: in pictures
The key moments from the conference so far.
By Caroline Crampton Published 20 September 2010 14:18
Charles Kennedy and Nick Clegg appear together on the BBC's Andrew Marr Show from the conference on Sunday morning. The atmosphere appears jovial; rumours of his imminent defection to Labour have been well and truly quashed.

But before the cameras were rolling, things looked slightly less amicable, on Kennedy's side, at least.

Later, Nick and Miriam mingled with the delegates. Nick appears to have been in good spirits.

Nick also enjoyed a go on the Wii with some of his supporters.

Unfortunately, he wasn't the only one to try his hand at the games console. The Parliamentarians' Wii leaderboard put him a paltry third.
Chief Secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander addresses the conference, taking on challenges to the cuts agenda and welfare.

And it isn't all serious speeches. While in Liverpool, the party faithful can stock up on Lib Dem merchandise, including inspiring pictures of their leader in branded frame.

Andrew, people are laughing at you they dont CARE about you.....
God! I can smell a sanctimonious fug coming through my laptop screen. Going...to have to...change..pages, gag,retch...
There was a peice of chewing gum stuck to my shoe the other day.
Im quite sure that it was more important than the liberal democrats.
Liberal democrat unwarranted self importance. Gotta love it. lets face it, once the tories have finished with them, they'll be back to single digit support percentages.
This kind of silly baiting of LDs has to stop. We are the opposition and they are a coalition partner, but on AV we will have to work together - otherwise the gerrymandering will keep the Tories in power for a generation.
Name calling is not constructive opposition, however much fun it is...

It baffles me that anyone has ever been able to take Nick Clegg or the Liberal Democrats seriously. They're in Government (well, kind of) and still the world's press, and more importantly, the people, couldn't care less about their yearly PR exercise.
We're full members of Government last time I checked, which is certainly more than can be said for Labour.
And as for the press, the coverage that our conference has received from the Guardian, Independent, New York Times, etc. is proof that yeah, people do care about us.
Andrew - you are kidding yourself. You are the Tories' Judas goat, no more.
No self respecting person who voted ld to oppose the cons will ever do so again. Goodbye liberal democrats.
