Facebook "to float" on 17 May
The social networking site is set to go public in early May, say sources.

According to Technology site TechCrunch, Facebook is believed to be working towards a floatation date of May 17. Several sources close to the company have revealed the date to TechCrunch, on which Facebook will go public at an estimated value of $100bn.
